The 11th Sweetpotato Seed System and Crop Management Community of Practice Consultation

The 11th Sweetpotato Seed System and Crop Management Community of Practice Consultation will be held between 14th and 16th May 2019 in Mekelle, Ethiopia. The meeting is being co-hosted by the South Agricultural Research Institute, (SARI), Bureau of Agriculture and Natural Resource Development (BoANRD), Ethiopia, and the International Potato Center (CIP).

The meeting will provide the opportunity for exchange of experiences across sweetpotato seed systems interventions in Sub-Saharan Africa; and look in depth at seed quality assurance and regulatory frameworks; advances in multiplication technologies and business models for different types of seed entrepreneurs. We expect participation from 11 national sweetpotato programmes, together with other partners involved in sweetpotato seed value chain activities.
