SPHI and SASHA launch in Namulonge, Uganda

Major launch event of the ten year Sweetpotato for Profit and Health Initiative (SPHI) and the five year Sweetpotato Action for Security and Health in Africa (SASHA) project held at the Natural Crop Resources Research Institute at Namulonge, Uganda on 26 October, 2009. Over 226 participants attended this event filled with song, dance, speeches, informative posters, exhibits by farmers, and good food.
