Amidatu Adam works with the Women in Agricultural Development (WIAD) of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA), Ghana. She was part of the Trainer of Trainers: Everything-you-need-to-know-about-sweetpotato course held in Ghana. She is currently an agent of change helping to promote Orange-fleshed Sweetpotato (OFSP) in her District. Through WIAD-MoFA and with support from ACDEP (The Association of Church-based Development NGOs), 150 farmers (68 females and 82 males) from 6 communities in the Tolon District, Northern Region, Ghana were sensitized on the importance of having OFSP in their homes. The farmers were happy to go into the production of OFSP.
