The 8th Annual Sweetpotato for Profit and Health Initiative (SPHI) Meeting will be held from 24th through 27th September 2017 at the Ramada Resort in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, followed by a field trip to the Morogoro area 27-29th September. The theme of this year’s meeting is Building Resilient Food Systems with Sweetpotato. Exciting activities planned for this year include an exhibition at the Mlimani Mall on the 24th September, keynote addresses, panel discussions, and a World Café. Approximately 100 participants are expected. The SPHI Steering Committee and the SASHA Project Advisory Committee meetings will also be held during this week.
