In January 2018, 14 participants attended a ten day training on statistics for breeders in Kumasi, Ghana conducted by the leader of the Global sweetpotato breeding program for the International Potato Centre, Wolfgang Grünerberg and Statistician Raul Eyzaguirre.
The objective of the training was to help scientists and graduate trainees learn how to use different statistical packages for breeding data.
