Seed Systems and Crop Management CoP 5th Consultation

The  SPHI Sweetpotato Seed Systems Community of Practice: 5th Consultation will be held from 10-12th May, 2016, Arusha Tanzania. The meeting is being co-hosted by the SRI-Kibaba, Division of Research and Development, Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Cooperatives and Crop Bioscience Arusha.

The theme of the main meeting is “Marketing strategies for quality sweetpotato seed’. There will be two “learning journeys”: to the Crop Bioscience private TC laboratory and to a group of commercial sweetpotato root producers who are growing for the Israeli export market. 11 national programmes which SASHA2 supports for pre-basic seed production, SeFaMaCo, HarvestPlus and colleagues working on business and marketing strategies for cassava seed are expected to attend.
