The 2016 annual sweetpotato speedbreeders and genomics CoP meeting is scheduled to take place from 6-10 June in Nairobi. This 15th annual meeting is jointly organized by the International Potato Centre (CIP) as part of the Swetpotato Action for Security and Health in Africa (SASHA) project, the Genomic Tools for Sweetpotato Improvement (GT4SP) Project activity. Besides other activities, the GT4SP project will be involved in training of the SSA sweetpotato breeding community in genomics and marker-assisted breeding (MAB) in collaboration with the SASHA Project, both funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
