UAV-ARSIS Community of Practice workshop II
June 6, 2016 - June 7, 2016
Participants from Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda will attend a participatory Community of Practice workshop at PrideInn Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya on 6 – 7 June 2016. The objectives of the meeting are as follows:
- Identify/strengthen the communities of practice in support of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Agriculture Remote Sensing Information Systems (ARSIS) innovation
- Share with participants lessons learned to date by various stakeholder groups in UAV-ARSIS innovation, UAV4AG platform, other experiences in STARS and the enabling environment
- Continue the learning and assessment of UAV-ARSIS innovation, it products and communication products, and what these mean for your practice
- Identifying/strengthening the networks of collaboration across stakeholder groups and regions that enable UAV-ARSIS as a sustainable innovation
- Assessment of where we are, and identification of steps/actions to develop the impact pathways in stakeholder group community of practice, and key actors and actions in support of UAV-ARSIS
- Towards a theory of change – communities of practice, capacities, enabling conditions: how can ARSIS become part of the tools that improve agriculture and the wellbeing of smallholder farmers?
