New methodology to control whitefly results in patent filing by Embrapa

The unit of Genetic and Biotechnology Resources of Brazil’s National Agricultural Research Company (Embrapa) located in the country’s capital, Brasília, has filed on June 7, 2016 a patent request for the new methodology of production of a resistant plant to the pests through the RNA interfering technology.
