Who is behind the portal?

The Sweetpotato Knowledge Portal is supported by the International Potato Centre, CIP, and by the Sweetpotato Action for Security and Health in Africa (SASHA) funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Who can register as a member?

Anyone with an interest in becoming a member of the broader Sweetpotato Community of Practice is free to register. This Portal provides a venue for sweetpotato scientists, practitioners, and farmers to share, discuss, and generate new knowledge. Information is also available for the general public to learn more about sweetpotato. The goal is to build a vibrant community of practice, providing easy access to technical and scientific information concerning sweetpotato. Anyone who registers can contribute to the site. Together we will work to enhance nutrition and food security for millions of people.

What can non-members do?

If you do not wish to become a member you are still encouraged to use all the knowledge present, and you can leave comments for the authors or on the discussion forum without being a member.
