Despite the OFSP introduction into Mozambique, sweetpotato is still grown for home consumption mainly. This hinders supply to urban consumers usually depending on these markets. Government collaboration with SUSTAIN aims to achieve a better nutrition status through the production, marketing and consumption of a biofortified crop: the Orange-fl eshed sweetpotato (OFSP).
