This chapter titled “Dealing with critical challenges in African innovation platforms: lessons for facilitation” assess the process of identifying key issues and challenges, key issues in facilitating innovation platforms and the voices from the field with an assessment of the challenges faced- dynamic and evolving platforms, power and platforms, gender, internal versus external facilitation, issues of sustainability, issues of scale, and monitoring and evaluation.
