This paper represents some of the key findings of a collaborative study carried out by CIP and IFPRI with input from scientists at CIAT and IITA. It presents future projections for potato and sweetpotato to the year 2020 for the purpose of contributing to a clearer vision of the role these crops can play in the global food system in the decades ahead.
