This poster describes a project aiming to introduce nutritious orange fleshed sweetpotato (OFSP) in Niassa. The major observation is that an awareness campaign implementation to train communities in the management of natural resources in order to improve soil fertility, and to use lowland areas more effectively and to link OFSP production to the market and to improved nutrition is needed. This would contribute to the reduction of malnutrition in Niassa province.
