The Reaching agents of change (RAC) initiative was designed to build capacity for policies and funding advocacy, and Orange fleshed sweetpotato (OFSP) service providers such as processors, markets and consumers. With the above activities, RAC would determine if OFSP will be adopted and be delivered in cost effective manner in Africa. In this presentation, the development goal is to reduce child malnutrition and associated health problems in sub-Saharan Africa. The achievement of RAC include successfully tested innovative approaches to generate investments, reach policy makers, and train advocates and implementers concerning a new technology that links agriculture and nutrition, orange fleshed sweetpotato.
