SPHI Brief 2016: Orange-fleshed Sweetpotato on the Home Grown School Feeding Menu in Nigeria and Ghana

Sweetpotato for health and wealth in Nigeria and Jumpstarting OFSP in West Africa for diversified markets are two projects that out of the search for OFSP demand in the formal sector, conceived  inclusion in the school feeding menu. This brief presents a report of the approach and achievements of strategies to provide OFSP in the School Feeding Program in Ghana and Nigeria, as well as the achievements made between June 2015 and July 2016, and plans for scaling up.
