Key Project Information

Is a five year project (April 2016 to March 2021) funded by Irish Aid. It is coordinated by CIP and working on Research and Development of 3 Root and Tuber Crops (RTC) and their value chains. CIP will implement activities on potato and sweetpotato while International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) will implement the cassava crop component. The purpose is to increase the contributions of RTC to food security, nutrition and incomes of small scale farming households of Malawi.
