At the request of the Mozambique Government, the International Potato Center (CIP) developed a response strategy for disseminating new varieties of Orange-Fleshed Sweetpotatoes (OFSP) to affected areas. The project was implemented in five  provinces (Maputo, Gaza, Inhambane, Sofala and Manica).
