Concern Worldwide is a non-governmental, international, humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries.  Founded as an Irish response to the famine in Biafra almost 50 years ago, Concern today has grown into a global network operational in 28 of the world’s poorest countries. In Malawi, we work in 4 districts of Nsanje, Nkotakota, Lilongwe and Mchinji.
